Q : What do I need on My hosting account to make MultiDB work?

A: You need your account to have MySQL and Perl and that you can run cgi    scripts. These are provided on many accounts and we'll help you find one if not.We'll also install it for you.

Q: I need to modify/add text to the main search page. How do I do that?

A: You need to get to the 'Advanced Settings' of the Output Display section. It is accessed by clicking on the program menu ' Edit', then 'User Side Display', then continue on to the next page where you specify the template values. There's a button that says 'Advanced Settings'. Click that and you'll see all the sections you can change. You can change the header, the search page body , and its footer along with various colors of the search page text and search box. You can design waht you want in your HTML editor and place the results in their appropriate boxes.

Q: I need to customize the search results. How do I do that?

A: Get to the 'Advanced Settings' section discussed above and simply insert your HTMl code into the Summary results box. You can also do this with the Details view. To get an idea copy and paste the search words you see above the summary results box int that box for example, '~~name~~ ' ,'~~age~~'

Save it , Continue till you get to the 'Specify template Values' page . When there click the preview button and look at the results.

Q: How easy is it to hook to Pay Pal?

A: It requires setting up a Free Pay PaL account. You should set up a premier account since it has instant payment notification. That feature will auto activate accounts that are approved by credit card. You will specify a particular email address for your account for that web site , this will be entered as the 'Admin Notify email ' address in the 'Advanced Settings' section of the Output Display. You than check the boxes 3 or 4 under Payment Configurations, enter the payemnt amounts/days, and check off Pay Pal card processing .

Q: I want to use my own template. How can I do that?

A: You have the ability to upload the html template file and and the images with that file. When designing your page have the images in the same directory as the HTML file. The upload section is accessed by going to Edit on the menu Then clicking 'User Side Display' . You'll see a upload link to the right.

Q: I have a few domains that I want to use Multi DB with . How do I do that?

A: MultiDb is installed on one domain. By creating a framed page , other sites can access MulTIDB and operate independently. More info here.

Q: I've created my database site . How does the web surfer access it?

A: All links to access your sites are located under 'File', ' DB Links' on the program menu. These links can be placed on pages of other sites.
